World Masters Games 2025 Taipei & New Taipei City
It’s the first time that PETANQUE has been included as an official discipline in the “World Masters Games”. The World Masters Games 2025 Taipei & New Taipei City features 35 different sports, comprising a total of 283 individual sporting events. There is no upper age limit for players, and no prior qualification is required. As long as players meet the age requirements specified in the Sport Information Guideline, they are eligible to register. Registration for the event is conducted on an individual basis, and interested players can complete the registration process by visiting the “Register” section on the official website, which directs users to the registration portal.The games aim to blend athletic competition with cultural tourism, offering players a unique chance to engage in friendly sportsmanship and immerse themselves in the rich culture of Taiwan. 2024, a year placed under the sign of the sport with this summer, the greatest planetary event which will be held in Paris in France namely the Olympic Games: of the J.O. of the Centenary in Paris after those of 1924. Unfortunately, boules will be absent from this great celebration of Olympism, as its bid as a demonstration sport for this Olympiad was not accepted. The most optimistic will say that it's only a postponement, and then in December the 51st World Championships for Men's Triplettes and Precision Shooting will take place in Dijon (21). No Olympic Games for our sport, but a very active year on and off the field. In this February issue, we take you on a trip to South America, to Chile to be precise, where the 1st Pan-American Games were held last December. As for the next World Games, we're heading for China and the land of pandas (in Chengdu) in 2025. Greetings from The World Games 2025 Chengdu !
