During the 2011 SEA GAMES, part of which was organised in this country, he took care of the petanque competitions in his city of Palembang and the organisation was perfect. While the Indonesian federation had been suspended for not joining the new Asian confederation (ABSC), its president not understanding the reasons for the change and preferring to stay close to the former leaders of the former suspended confederation, he had organized the start of a new federation and travelled with a team to the 2016 world championships in Madagascar.
