It’s the first time that PETANQUE has been included as an official discipline in the “World Masters Games”. The World Masters Games 2025 Taipei & New Taipei City features 35 different sports, comprising a total of 283 individual sporting events. There is no upper age limit for players, and no prior qualification is required. As long as players meet the age requirements specified in the Sport Information Guideline, they are eligible to register. Registration for the event is conducted on an individual basis, and interested players can complete the registration process by visiting the “Register” section on the official website, which directs users to the registration portal.The games aim to blend athletic competition with cultural tourism, offering players a unique chance to engage in friendly sportsmanship and immerse themselves in the rich culture of Taiwan.
